This scene is a mini-crossover with @robovoidfrog's Funkinverse, a fellow Spider-Verse-based film fic based on FNF. Go check that one out if you're interested!

In an in-between point between Many More Heroes and Cosmic Discoveries, EV!Sonic was guiding Benjamin down into the lower levels of Gust Planet.

Benjamin: The cell he's being held at is this deep down?

EV!Sonic: Yeah. Considering the threat level a hostile EXE can pose compared to regular villains, we can't take the risk and have to contain them down here where they can't hurt anyone.

Benjamin: So, while we're on our way down, could you remind me why you recruited me into the Quill Society? I mean, I'm not really one of you guys.

EV!Sonic: Maybe not, little dude, but you are the little brother of Hatsune Miku herself. Since she's one of the SEGA properties, alongside your skills as an angel in human form, that's plenty of good criteria in my eyes!

Benjamin: Hehe! I'm flattered!

EV!Sonic: Well, here's the chamber.

EV!Sonic opened the door to let them inside, where Grimbo/The X was waiting.

EV!Sonic: Well, X, hope you had a good rest right now.

The X: Ah, good! I must say, I'm quite impressed by your skills for a couple of teenagers. Well, early teen in your little friend's case, hedgehog.

EV!Sonic: You're lucky we even managed to get you detained, Grimbo. Took at least four of us to get you caught compared to the whole shebang with Speedy.

The X: I'm not sitting here listening to memories, rodent! Now, tell me, what have you come down here for?

EV!Sonic: It's about some of the mess you caused back in Benjamin's home dimension and the surrounding Funkinverse. Benjamin's Carol and Salty are still quite ticked off at you for what you did.

The X: Ah, yes. You're referring to my time causing mayhem for that OTHER Society, right? Oh, that was a lot of fun to do, hahaha! That said, I'm still displeased about the measures you took to lock me in here. I don't even look entirely like myself right now!

EV!Sonic: It had to be done so that your high levels of energy couldn't cause harm to anyone else, especially when you've been on the same threat level as the Spot and Crimtake.

The X: I took those measures because I need to be seen as a proper villain, not some low-lying EXE like the rest of them! If I can't have a nice life, why should anyone else?!

Benjamin: That doesn't excuse the harm you've done, X! My friend has been left colour-blind because of you, Agent Blueballs was trying to enable the deaths of others like LM tried, and Salty was almost left without one of his legal guardians! You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself, Grimbo!

The X's face changed into his namesake to show his increasing frustration. His voice was loud and booming, causing Benjamin to shake a bit on the spot.

The X: I tire of your lectures, you blue-haired prick! Consider yourself LUCKY you survived your encounters with those inferior demons!

EV!Sonic: Alright, alright! Time to cool it, X. Unless you want ANOTHER energy restraining.

The X: Hmph. Fine, but only since I've got nowhere else to be right now, anyway.

EV!Sonic: (Geez, and to think that evil super form from the Fleetway dimension was unhinged.) I already had a feeling you weren't going to listen when we came down here. You've been a big enough problem for the nicer Funkin' Society members. We don't need you being a problem HERE, either.

The X: It's always the same between these different connected multiverses, you know that? A version of the main hero dies in one universe, some batshit villain's plans drag in more heroes, Societies are formed under the guise of protecting the multiverses, only to undermine what you so-called heroes stand for through living sacrifices and locked-in fates!

EV!Sonic: It's different here, X. The Quill Society is trying to avoid those flaws as best as we can, including NOT enforcing canon events and putting preventing deaths from knowingly happening at high priority.

The X: Consider yourselves lucky I haven't started a killing spree proper before you captured me.

Benjamin: Honestly, I think it's time we get going. I've got my boyfriend and girlfriend to catch up with, and I've honestly had quite enough of this eyesore for one day.

EV!Sonic: Yeah, that's a good call. Elise, get ready to lock down X's cell in full.

E-21: Understood. The lockdown will be finished in 20 seconds.

EV!Sonic: We'll have our next scheduled talk next week, X. Until then, you'd better be on better behaviour.

The X: That much you can't exactly count on.

The two left as the cell returned to full lockdown.

The X: Urgh, pathetic. Because of them, I'm back down to square one. But mark my words, Sonic, for I'll eventually be free of these shackles you've put me in when you send me back to my dimension, and even if there's a lock in my dimension-travelling powers, I'll still find a way to take everything from them, just as they've done to me! After all, don't you know I am GOD? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

House Warming

"I made the active decision to buy a haunted house; not only was it infinitely cheaper, but it gave me the ability to capitalize on the haunting with a YouTube series and an incredibly active Twitter account."

 Rowan pauses for dramatic effect, waiting for praise or outrage at his latest act of recklessness...no one is sure which. His brothers and sister look at him incredulously. They were all much older than he was, with children who were only a handful of years younger than himself. Perhaps that was the problem...or if not the problem then it was certainly one of the many problems. 

In truth Rowan understood their concerns, for most people a haunted house would be a "cool story bro" deal: all talk, no truth. In their family that way of living is a pipe dream...admittedly though he was banking on that to really help him cash in on the whole YouTube deal. 

"It's not like the ghosts seem particularly upset about me being here...if anything they seem pretty chill."

As if to cement this train of thought as fact, Sequoia's tray of housewarming cookies casually floats between Rowan and his older siblings, several of the cookies floating into the air along the way before being bitten in half.

Sequoia just sighs and Rowan wonders why his older sister even bothers coming to family functions when she must be so tired of everyone else and their supernatural bullshit. He wonders sometimes if she'd be happier if she'd been born like Fern: for the most part magic-free and able to blend in. He can't say he blames her, at one point or another all of them have wished to be a bit more pedestrian and a lot less magical. Rowan, despite being more than 15 years younger than even the youngest of his older siblings, outgrew that phase a while ago, Sequoia, despite being the oldest Cooper sibling, never has. 

Fern and Spruce are somewhere in the middle ground, resigned to their lineage but not particularly fussed about it one way or the other. True neutrality.

Rowan shakes his head, as if his mind was an Etch-a-Sketch and doing so would clear his thoughts away. 

'Well we're gonna...yanno...leave." says Fern, looking at a bunch of floating cookies as they slowly disappear into nothingness. a look of pure boredom on his face, "C'mon guys, let's give Rowan some time to get to know his new housemates." 

"Let's," Spruce says with an amused laugh, his eyes alight with a sense of knowing that makes Rowan wonder just how much his oldest brother doesn't tell the rest of them about. 

Watching as his siblings make a leisurely retreat out the front door, Sequoia complaining about Rowan being 'too reckless' and Spruce trying to assuage her concerns without actually giving her any real reason to believe him. Fern shakes his head as he follows them out. Typical Cooper sibling gathering. Sometimes Rowan wonders what it would be like to have his siblings be his siblings instead of acting like three extra sets of parents who refuse to acknowledge that he’s a whole legal adult now. 

The door seemingly closes itself behind them and Rowan grins wildly. He has ghosts in his house, and they're eating the cookies his sister brought for his housewarming party…he was going to make so much bank off his new ghost buddies! The house will pay for itself in no time... now if only he could remember which box his camera was in...

Walking into the newest hit Club “Under-Newgrounds” you were faced with a relatively empty club area, infact there was only one other person, a relatively tall blue haired boy sat up top some speakers messing around with a mic. Xavion Purest, the owner of this rather popular club. Almost everyone knew about either him or this club. It popularity only seemed to increase by the week. The guy likely wouldn’t have noticed your presence at all if you hadn’t had been so awed by his appearance and presence in general that you had stumbled back into a table, knocking it down and onto you with a rather loud crash.

“The fuck?!”

The noise definitely seemed to startle the guy as he leaped down off the speakers, looking over towards your direction before letting out a loud laugh. “HA! There’s a table there, stupid.” They teases, waltzing over to help you up. He picked the table up with surprising ease, setting it back upright before then holding a hand out to you, carefully lifting you back up onto your feet. “Y’know the club ain’t open yet. I’m not sure how the hell you got in. I know for a fact you don’t work here.”

“Ah-um-s-sorry!! I’m just a-….fan!! I wanted to meet you b-before it got crowded and uh stuff. Yeah..!!”

“Fan huh? What’s your name, Fanny.” Already giving you a nickname, clique and cheesy. It wasn’t even that good yet the blunette still chuckled from it.

“Anon..!!”

“Anon? Weird but cool name. I like it. You likely know me as Older Bro but my actual name is Xavion. Xavion Hatsune.” He held out a hand to shake your own before glancing over to the clock on the wall with a hum. “Hmm. Still got a few hours before the club opens up... I got some time to kill and I’m sure you got questions you wanna ask so go ahead and shoot.”
